  作者介紹：周掄園，河北大名府人，早年考取國立北平大學藝術學院，受教於蕭謙中、蕭俊賢、齊白石等名師，和王雪濤、趙望雲、劉開渠、李苦禪、雷圭元等同學，畢業後應蔡元培之邀留校任教，與徐悲鴻、齊白石、黃賓虹等同事。 其繪畫深得古法，格多高妙；中年率先寫生，力創國畫新境界；晚年將"積墨""潑墨"相參，蒼茫沉凝，氣勢磅礴。
